New Brunswick Scientific's new Excella shakers are designed with enhanced features and performance, at an affordable price. Replacing the original C-Line, all eight temperature-controlled and open-air Excella Shakers feature a superior heavy-duty UniCentric™ drive and cool running motor for long life and quiet operation under heavier loads and at higher speeds. While these shakers may not offer all the advanced features or specifications of the Innova models, they are an excellent alternative when budget constraints are an issue. A wide range of platforms and accessories are also available.

USER FRIENDLY

• Microprocessor Controls* enable precise setting of agitation speed, running time and temperature.
• Extremely Quiet Operation
• Intuitively-Programmed Keypad* reduces operator error in establishing running conditions. Keypad is resistant to spills and is easily cleaned.
• Large, Clearly Visible 9/16" (1.4 cm) LED Character Display* presents a menu of function / status readouts including speed, running time, self-diagnostic indicators and temperature.

RELIABLE OPERATION & REPRODUCIBLE RESULTS

• New UniCentric Drive Ensures Quiet, Vibration-Free and Reliable Operation at Higher Loads and Speeds. Powered by a heavy-duty, cool-running brushless DC motor.
• Setpoint Retention* maintains setpoint during power interrupt and restarts shaker when power resumes.
• Self-Correcting Microprocessor Controller* automatically compensates for changes in workload, voltage, and temperature to maintain operator-programmed setpoints.
• Audible and Visible Alarms* additionally alert the user to setpoint deviations. Audible alarm can be muted.
• Unique Acceleration/Deceleration Circuit* eliminates wetting of flask closures which could interfere with oxygen transfer. Prevents sudden starts & stops. Minimizes mechanical damage for longer shaker life.
• Thermostat Fail-Safe Protects Cultures by shutting off heaters if high limit is exceeded. (E24 & E25 Series only.)

CONVENIENT & SAFE

• Timed Studies with Automatic Agitation Shut-Off* can be programmed, adjustable from 0.1 to 99.9 hours. Audible and visual alarms indicate end of study.
• Open Door or Open Lid Cutout Switch stops agitation when chamber is open. (E24 & E25 Series only.)
• Excella Shakers Use the Same Accessories as other New Brunswick shaker products, allowing you to use your existing accessories.

WARRANTY

• Excella Shakers Shipped Within the US and Canada are Covered by a 2 Year Warranty on parts and labor. Elsewhere, please contact your NBS rep for warranty info.

(*) Applies to all models except the analog-controlled E1, which is provided with reference calibrations that allow the shaker to be set manually for reproducible results from one run to the next.
