BioCommand Plus
Designed by and for biological scientists and technicians, this newest member of the BioCommand family is loaded with useful features, yet retains the hallmark NBS ease-of-use.

BioCommand Plus is full-featured bioprocessing control software. Automatic data logging, remote batch control, and three levels of user-programmability are included. Enhanced process views include synoptic displays, trend graphs, bar graphs, and batch summary tables. Easy-to-use programming tools help you implement feed strategies, pH control and other protocols simply and automatically.

Flexible for research, secure for production, BioCommand Plus is at home in facilities ranging from one-fermentor labs through multiple-suite plants. BioCommand Plus is LAN compatible.

BioCommand® Plus with OPC
BioCommand® Plus with OPC contains all the features of BioCommand Plus along with the ability to integrate input from 3rd party OPC compliant equipment into its powerful bioprocesses control platform. BioCommand Plus with OPC also has the ability to control up to 16 fermentors or bioreactors (8 on AFS Protocol and 8 on Modbus Protocol)

About OPC - OPC is an acronym for “OLE, (Object Linking and Embedding) for Process Control. It is a real-time industrial data exchange protocol based on Microsoft’s COM and DCOM communications architecture. This predefined standard allows users interconnectivity between an OPC server and an OPC Client (a software package capable of receiving info from the server) regardless of what type of device it is and without the need to write custom drivers. This new connectivity will allow the users to efficiently optimize their bioprocess by integrating any of the growing list of systems with OPC-compliant packages. Some common bioprocess equipment manufacturers that have hardware or software based on OPC architecture are: Nova, Emerson, National Instruments, Iconics, Yokagawa, and many others. Please refer to the OPC foundation website for a complete list of compliant packages at www.OPCfoundation.org.

OPC Server
The OPC Server allows for connectivity between NBS Fermentors/Bioreactors and other OPC compliant SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) software running on the same computer as our OPC Server. Examples of OPC-Compliant software packages are Wonderware, Labview, DeltaV, and Matlab.

BioCommand Lite
This data logging software also enables setpoint changes and remote monitoring from the PC. BioCommand Lite supports one NBS fermentor or bioreactor controller, including up to four independent vessels sharing one BioFlo 110 Primary Controller. BioCommand Lite is an easier to use, more accurate and more powerful tool than strip-chart recorders and other old technology data acquisition systems.
