BioCommand® Plus Sample Screens
A BioCommand Plus Synoptic Display, graphically illustrates fermentor components and current process values. Easily created with the "no-programming required" tools provided, users can modify these displays to optimize content, clarity and convenience.
The BioCommand Control Diagram feature makes process programming easier for non-programmers. New in BioCommand Plus, programs can include comments, time profiles, and user defined functions. This example starts feeding nutrient when dissolved oxygen spikes above 45%. Once triggered, nutrient feed increases according to a time profile, which is adjusted in response to current dissolved oxygen value.
The BioCommand Plus Recipe format neatly organizes and retains all batch parameters, including staff authorizations. Authority levels are recipe-specific, and assigned by the person(s) who define each protocol. A Supervisor for one fermentaton, may be an Observer of another.
The BioCommand Plus Batch Summary presents a concise and accurate table of process conditions. These displays are automatically created without manual data entry. They reflect the actual control loops in each fermentor. Loop Names, Current Values, Measuring Units, Controller Outputs, and Controlling Modes are continuously displayed and updated for every operating fermentor. In addition to current process status, the Batch Summary provides a convenient site for changing setpoints. Never more than a click away, the Batch Summary provides one more tool for monitoring and controlling your fermentors.
Time Profiles continually adjust setpoints of any process variable according to a preset schedule. They are easily created by filling in a table. A graph automatically displays setpoint versus time as the table is filled in. Setpoints can be made to change suddenly (Step) or gradually (Ramp).
